Handy Rails Tips was first launched in 2009 by me, Gavin Morrice. The site was used as a repository for the useful tips I had picked up in my journey as a Ruby on Rails developer.

After about 2011, I felt I no longer had time to maintain the site, and I let the domain expire.

In May, 2020, I purchased the domain again and relaunched the site. Thanks to archive.org, I was able to re-publish the original articles, some of which are no doubt out of date, but serve as fun Ruby on Rails nostalgia.

This blog is a place for me to share some of my ideas on Ruby on Rails web development—which has been the main focus of my career since 2008.
